02 johnson 150 starts then dies

Not sure what is going on with this motor. Someone is supposed to come buy it tomorrow. So I need your help. Brand new CDI pack and optical sensor becase it had no spark. Now it fires up. And almost immediately shuts off. Sometimes it will run about 30 seconds before it shuts off. Sounds like I turn the key off. I don't think it is fuel related. Any help will be much appreciated

Check that your kill switch circuit has no short grounding it out along it.
Check when it runs for thirty secs and then cuts out if it still has spark then or not

As said above, check your spark when it quits.

Thanks guys. Got it fixed. It was the stator cutting out once the key was let go from start position. Took it out today and it ran like a top again
