lower gear case on the opposite site of the fill and drain plugs for the gear oil , There is like a inspection plate about 8" wide and 1" thick with 6 holes in the bottom left .

Can you overfill the gearbox ?<br /><br />I have got 2 holes one right at the bottom and one at the top ! i take it the bottom hole is the drain hole and the top hole is the fill hole ? Do i just remove the top screw and fill it up untill oil comes out it ?<br /><br />Thanks

When i was running my 33hp Johnson in a barrel , it ran fine then kicked about of a second then ran fine or a while then had another little kick !! Is this why they are called kickers ? and is this ok ?
