Can anyone assist and let me know which is the flow and which is the return on to two fittings and if i want to do away with feeding the old cylinder from these can i just loop the two fitting together.

Need to check if engine is ok after winterisation (no leaks etc) and before back in water, so looking to start it up. Any suggestion on getting water through. Can I use flushing muffs and if so is there a specific type or recommendation.

I have an old attwood guaradian 500 bilge pump which seems to have given up, maybe due to age. does anyone know if the wiring for this is the same as the newer version Sahara s500 As id like to do do a quick change over.
Looking to change over an old Teleflex single lever control on my Volvo penta aq231a as sticking and not smooth when trying to take from forward to back (pain when mooring) and was wondering is it a case of undoing the old one and switching over the existing cable etc.
How can I check if my thermostat gauge is working on a Volvo penta aq231a, new thermostat installed (Checked it was opening and closing prior to installing) but gauge not moving.
Does anyone know an easy way to tighten up the v belt on a aq231. Left hand bottom bolt on a slider, but I’m strangling to lever the alternator to tighten the belt.
