    Need help please

    1973 50 hp Johnson Outboard, When I go to full throttle the RPM goes up and down(all within 4 - 5 seconds, will not stay at the top speed, this happens on a consistent basis, I installed a new fuel pump, gas line and tank, same problem.

    Power Surge

    I have a 50 HP 1973 Johnson outboard, when you go 3/4 to full throttle the motor will go from mid speed to maybe 3/4 speed and keeps doing this on a regular basis, I changed the full pump, new primer hose and tank, not sure what to do? still the same thing slower faster slower faster and so on...
