How long would my 15hp evinrude run without pumping water, before it blows up. I took it on a fishing trip and didnt notice it not pumping water until back at the dock, it was about 50 min. of total run time.
Can i possibly get any more horsepower from my 1983 evinrude 15hp short shaft. I cant plane my boat out, i dont want to spend 1800 on a new or even used 20 or 25 horse motor please help...

I need a 20-30 hp tiller rope or elect. start motor for my boat. I am willing to spend in the 2-3 hundred dollar range.<br />I would like it to be a johnson or evinrude but i will go for a good offer on another brand. i am in central california, San Joaquin valley.
