    i just tried to get the clutch dog on my old 6hp johnson out, i got the lower cover (skeg?) of but couldnt remove the shaft that carries the gears out because of the shift rod. the manual says the power head has to come of to remove this rod, is this right? sounds a bit extreme. sorry i dont...

    hi my johnson 6hp twin cut out ten yards from the shore so i bought it home and took the float bowl of and blew it all out with carb cleaner, when i put it together i noticed it dosnt pump fuel when i pull the starter, should it? i put a new pump on, which is slightly "deeper" but didnt make...
