Has anyone ever heard of a complaint with a mercury outboard motor having the throttle stick or any problem that would cause an aluminium fishing boat to spin full throttle in tight right hand circles? A family member drowned because he was flipped out of his boat from this happening. I think...
I have an 88 Mercury Outboard and have experienced the throttle locking in the full throttle position causing the boat to spin in circles at full throttle. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a safety I can attach or has there been a recall I am unaware of? Please let me know what I can do.
