I need longer throttle and shift cables for a johnson 70el77s on a 1962 starcraft. I'm fairly new to boats, but know how to work on motors. I need to know what specifics to look for. I'll measure in the morning to know what length I need. Thank you.
I have a 1977 Johnson 70 hp. On the water, I close tank vant and prime the bulb until firm. Start the motor and let it run. It slowly dies and bulbs goes soft. Only takes a few minutes. Sometimes the bulb actually collapses in on itself. Any ideas?
