    Steam from exhaust

    Muffler Reccomendations?

    I have a very loud thru-hull 350 merc. Looking for marine mufflers and was wondering if anyone has any reccomendations? Found some Dapers that say they reduce noise up to 85%. Any input appreciated.<br />-Gerry

    Outdrive not engaging

    I have a volvo 270 outdrive and we switched the gear cable. When we put it in gear now there is no movement from the prop. Does anyone know what we might have missed in the reassembly?<br />-Gerry

    Thermostat sending unit troubleshooting.

    I have a new sending unit and gauge they are both teleflex, My gauge isn't moving and I was curious to see if the gauge is defective. Is there a way to tell?<br />-Gerry

    Calling all volvo 270 outdrive people!

    Just got a new motor for the outdrive tilt system. We are having issues trying to figure out what cuts it out when the outdrive is in the full upright position. Is there a safety switch to cut it off. The outdrive kill is working when we lower it all the way but not when it's raised. Any ideas?

    Outdrive help

    I have a small issue regarding my outdrive. Part number 35 on my outdrive (Volvo 270) the threading on the inside that starts the part screwing on to the spline has come undone. Am I going to have to buy a new one, or is there a way to salvage the old one? Let me know if you need more...

    350 flywheel housing issues

    does anyone know of any issues matching up a Merc 350 with a volvo penta 270 outdrive? I bougt a housing that has the right parts on both ends but my flywheel housing doesn't get over my flywheel. It's a 14 inch flywheel. But the wierd thing is that my starter fits that flywheel?*!
