    evinrude zincs/sacrificial annodes

    Power head bolt???

    I removed one of my power head bolts (1986 225hp 2 strke evinrude v6) to remove an old z bracket from a temp sender....When i took the bolt out a small item...i think it was a spring..fell off the end of the bolt and went in the water....what did i loose and is it imporatnt thanks

    bow down/prop

    hey!! 23 ft mako with a 225 evinrude...1987..bow rides way high with a high rake prop--15 x 17...rpms are ok , , a little low but they ar 5600-5700 when i trim up...i want to get a lower/moderate rake prop to keep the bow down..and i can adjust with trim...i take a pounding in the bad weather...

    Temp gauge issue

    i HAVE 2 TELEFLEX LIDO OUTBOARD TEMO GAUGES/ SENDERS ON MY EVINRUDE 225,,BOTH GAUGES ( ONE ON EACH HEAD) ARE WIred exactly the same..the gauge on the starboard side of the motor/dash elevates its reading as the throttle is advanced and the rpms increase....as i decrease throttle the needle...

    Repairing holes in deck???

    I recently removed by two pedestal hem chairs and now i have between 8 to 10 small lag bolt holes in my deck where the seat pedestals were...i replacing with other types of seating and will not use pedestals ....what is the best way to seal up these holes so no water permiates into the foam...
