    Back in action after left knee replacement...looking for ideas. I pulled the center console into the garage to rehab, paint and updates. Need advice on getting it back into the boat. The engine is bolted in place, so its gotta go over the gunwales...???

    Any sources or tips for repairing or replacing the vertical transom trims...mine have some corrosion...but sure how you would fabricate a 1-3/4" channel with an almost 90 deg bend???

    Got around to building a stand for the Opti 200...needed to get it off the pallet and check k out the forklift damaged port lower cowling...geeze this think looks huge on a stand! Gotta get splashwell finished so we can get the engine mounted on the boat...one step closer to splashing it!!

    Rivet question? Looks like replacing the factory original carpet will be much easier if I remove the rod holder brackets etc....( factory carpet was installed under all these brackets then riveted) Any idea what length rivets these would take? Didnt see them mentioned in the "rivets sticky"

    Windy every day has slowed down the foam installation...looks like its gonna take 10-11 sheets...all deck boards are cut, preserved and urethane. Tackled rebuilding trailer bunks...for rid of the old lumber and replaced with polyurethane coated 2x6 (no more carpet)...also added 3/4" HDPE...

    Extruded...not expanded...polystyrene..1" thick..on edge...rigid, closed cell..waterproof..lengthwise..on top of the cross ribs

    Well about 250 rivets later...7 patch panels in...5200 to glue and seal...PC11 2part epoxy inside the hull....new foam tomorrow

    New transom is in...transom has been reskinned and patch panels for the hull...rivets on Tuesday!!

    YES!... The splashwell may come off as one piece..I didnt know that...I am rebuding mine and will put it back in as one piece. Just finished reskinning the new transom and making patch panels for the hull
