    Need advise. Motor started fine last week, today when trying to start it turns slow like low battery, but battery just came off charger. Both plugs are firing. Turned motor over with plug out and it spun and started. Did this with both plugs. Plugs back in, back to slow turning. Any ideas? 2...

    Purchased this motor and was advised it was a 1978 Johnson 25 hp. Data plate is gone, has been thoroughly painted camo. Has electric start. Any way to tell without data plate.
