    92 Evinrude 25hp questions (e25elens)

Anyone with info on the primer lines? Is the splitter stock? If it is stock, then I’m assuming the cut primer line should be reconnected somewhere else on the block or carb?

Lower Unit gear oil screws (2 of them) 1991 Johnson 25 HP

Ran the engine in a trash can full of water today and it shifted perfect, luckily. I was sweating for a bit there. Side note, any marine grade 80w-90 is good for a 92 25hp Evinrude?

Lower Unit gear oil screws (2 of them) 1991 Johnson 25 HP

Bringing this one back from the dead, I recently purchased a pontoon with a 1992 25hp Evinrude. Well, I loosened the phillips screw near the flat head drain plug on the lower unit. I loosened it just enough for a little gear lube to drip out, then re-tightened it. It tightened up as normal, no...

    I smell a rat.. maybe it's gas..

I just had a new fuel tank custom built for my 86 Horizon 190... to the tune of $583 (ouch) $515 for the tank, $35 for a new fuel lever sender plus tax ($33) Kehrig makes really nice tanks, that's for sure. The best part is I dropped off the old tank Monday, and picked up the new tank on...

What are these wires for? Trim Gauge?

Wire #1 goes behind the Trim pump/motor and hooks into the boats wiring harness... Im guessing that's the Trim Up Limit Sensor Wire #2 is just hanging out, I can't find any old mounting locations for it (ones similar to Wire #1's mounting fixed to the back of the hull) ^^^ The end of Wire #2...

What are these wires for? Trim Gauge?

1986 Four Winns Brougham 190 5.0L 200HP Mercruiser with Mercruiser outdrive These wires look to be inside a factory oem protective shield. One is black and the other one is brown (I think) My trim gauge is not working on the boat I recently purchased. I'm curious what these wires are for...
