I have only had one issue not getting my money back for parts not as described and it was for a set of props that had been repaired poorly. Ebay got involved and refunded my money. Seller was not happy about it.

    Happiest Day of Ownership !!!

We sold our cuddy cabin boat last year and switched to a Cobalt bow rider. Such a great choice for us since we are lake boaters only these days. We do not miss having a cuddy anymore. My new Mercruiser also has the pressurized single point drain although they kinda lie about that...there are...

    Duo Prop Removal

Do not use an impact wrench. Soak the threads with something like Kroil or PBBlaster overnight and use a regular socket and breaker bar. When was the last time you had the prop off?

    Kicking around another hair-brained idea

Yep...my friend bought an electric cart(AGM batteries) that was once owned by the Peterson Auto museum. This thing is fast. It was used on an airport and never been registered for street. I added a horn for them and it already had the turn signals and brake/head lights. Registered it easily.

What type of oil and lube to use

I used to use the Mobil 1 gear lube until they put in friction modifiers. After that, and also based on DonS's recommendation, I only used the Volvo Penta gear lube.

    Kicking around another hair-brained idea

A 13V 100AH lithium battery weighs between 25# and 30# and you can discharge it 100% without damage. It now sounds you just want to get a gas car...Buy a used Smart Car! They are small and cheap.
