    Just do it yourself. Make sure you check engine/gimbal bearing alignment before you install. If it's going to fail from a manufacturer's defect, it's going to be in the beginning. Really hard to believe a VP dealer won't install it. Is it because you didn't buy it from them?

    I would only do this if you don't care if this boat is ever going to be seaworthy again....if it's a parts boat. That picture you posted just happens to be a picture of a service that hauls boats to the dump...it's pretty appropriate.

    I doubt you are going to get much charge going to the batteries through isolation diodes with that Renogy controller. There will be enough voltage drop across the diodes to severely limit you.     That's interesting since my Volvo OEM manual says 45 ft-lb for the front an 50 ft-lb for the rear. My manual is for an LK so a few years back.
