    Sunrunner section

If you're looking for specific details about Sunrunner boats, you can ask in the forums - and still get quite a bit of help. The manufacturer subforums typically aren't overly active (though, some are).

We've still got some of the subforums that didn't make it when we converted the forum software. Looks like ya' found one :) @colonel_sanders

Purpose of this hatch? And can I waterproof it?

Can't quite tell, but I'm gonna' guess it's a cooler. If there's a small drain hole somewhere down on the bottom, my guess is that it drips water out the bottom of your deck.

    What model is my boat?

^^^^ Seats were probably made by a supplier back in the 70s anyway. Most likely they were back to back lounges.

    What model is my boat?

LOL ... oh. :p Try this here are boat specs for 1977 from iBoats: http://boatspecs.iboats.com/Sylvan_Marine__Outboard__1977/bp/32br1491bt3y And if they fit, I think the T160 is a good candidate. The one in the ad sheet below is an I/O but they had OBs too.

    What model is my boat?

HA! I dunno' the model, but one of the families on our lake had one when I was a kid. We'd play chase out on the lake some together ... couldn't miss the boat when it was out with the "Quasimodo" hump on the back. Sylvan is still in business. Their historic catalogs on line only go back to...

Just Another Day on the Water

I use a tow service here in Tennessee. Haven't needed it yet with the Bayliner, but the Silverline konked out on me a couple of times. Well worth the money spent. Sounds like you have a great Admiral, when she can roll with it like that.

    Duratech Skier

Welcome aboard: Duratech is no longer in business. Not sure that their website is being maintained by anyone. Look over at our restoration forums for some aluminum rebuilds: that can give you some ideas on the transom.

    Info on alumacraft

That's not a HIN, so likely that it's a serial number. If cc67 is correct - and it seems reasonable - good chance it's a 1970 model.

    1983 thundercraft live well pump?

On a boat under 40', the red / green light on the bow and the all around white light on the stern make up the navigation lights. When you're at anchor, the red / green light is turned off and the white all around light remains on. That's your anchor light. I lean to agree with the above about...

    1983 thundercraft live well pump?

With an I/O, I would hope that one of those switches runs a blower. BUT, that set of toggles looks like it was a replacement set, not the original switches. You should (generally) have a way to switch on your bilge pump, your nav lights, your anchor light only, your blower (on an I/O) and then...

How do I add gear oil to multiple fill plugs on OMC stern drive.

^^ Yup. And on the Stringer that top plug on the upper gear case is a dipstick (of sorts). I would fill from the bottom of the gear case, and watch for lube at the top to come out. Drive should be tilted as "down" as you can get it. Just add grease to those zerks: and look for one at the front...

1995 Bayliner Capri 1800LS bimini suggestions

More likely those were the connectors for the convertible canvas. That's roughly where mine are located.

    Make and Model?

How do I add gear oil to multiple fill plugs on OMC stern drive.

Lower unit, upper unit and the intermediate housing are all separate gear cases. They all take regular 90wt gearcase lube (nothing special), but they each fill independently. Lower unit will have a fill hole on the bottom, and a breather hole up above. Upper unit has a fill hole on the side, and...

How to tel if boat will over heat in the water

You can put it on muffs and run it in the driveway. But a water test is the only way (I know of) to know everything is working correctly for sure. The Stringer needs to be submerged when it's running to draw water properly.
