Alpha one gen 2 transom to outdrive gear lube hose

What year? The length for the older (beginning) bravo drives was once listed at 9.5 inches but of course measure your old one to be sure and buy a bit longer to ensure you have enough… if you buy it online from a Merc dealer, etc, then I believe you’ll only be able to buy it in bulk but if you...

350 mag mpi iAc muffler stuck in cylinder

What year?.. Serial number? If you're sort of able to reach it, maybe a good shop vacuum will bring it back out... It's always been figured to be the iac muffler will work itself out.... This mentioned, seems somewhat doubtful this should be keeping the engine from fully starting but stranger...

Shifter removal… am I the only one who has this one

Are you trying to remove the handle? If yes, push in the center button, go to full wide-open throttle, carefully pry out the center plastic button, put the handle back into neutral position, should be a 11/16th socket to get out the center bolt.

    Bravo 3 - Stiff Throttle/Shifter

To shift a bravo drive it really needs to be turning plus it could cause other damage to the shifting components if the drive is not turning so go easy when trying even when everything is perfect again and you get into a spot where you have to shift it when the drive is not turning. Even with...

    What type sterndrive

What year is the boat the drive came with? If you're able to match a year, one of the following links ought to be your parts catalog for it, 165 1970-1977 165 1978-1981 Best to do (plus set up to do before hand) a pressure test first to see if maybe something else might be leaking too then...

TKS Ignition system hissing/sucking - not working properly

At this point I’d say put everything you have/can in new, double check all wires everywhere you can for cut open type damage and/or rubbing on something then go test the boat to see what happens before going much further…. Have extra fuses on board in case they blow later to Tty to get back...

If that 15 amp fuse continuous to blow, look for a cut open chafed wire including all the wiring at the alternator and not rubbing on something or even the damaged wire you mentioned may had been rubbing on a sharp edge. This member ended up blowing both fuses at different episodes...

The accessory 12 volt power type plug normally would look something like a cigarette lighter plug in a car… it’s usually protected by either a 20 amp breaker or fuse at or behind the dash…. The 15 amp fuses in that area seems to had been more or an additional part of the ignition accessories system that Merc added around that era… it tends to seem to blow if you use other accessories, such as a pump to blow up at inner tube,, raft, etc. from say the helm accessory power plug but if...
