    2005 Skeeter ZX190 Electrical Issue

Like others have said check all connections. The fact it seems to occur more during a hole shot makes me think that the battery (or battery box) may be lose and is tilting or sliding back straining one of the connections. Turn on the ignition and give every connection from the battery a good...

    What is this gauge?

That That rules out my guess #2. More than likely tilt and trim gauge. Did you try tilting the engine up and down when it was connected to see if it would move. The sending units for those if that is what it is are more often the cause of it not working than the gauge itself.

    What is this gauge?

what kind of boat and what type engine and drive. The first thing that comes to mind is a tilt and trim gauge. Second if you are holding it 90 degrees off it may be a rudder position indicator.

    Trailer Axle Machined Stepped Surfaces

Sounds like if the seal is riding on the spindle the same place as before you are OK to go.

    Trailer Axle Machined Stepped Surfaces

Are both race installed in the right direction? Perhaps one got flipped and is upside down. May sound like a dumb question but I did that once years ago but caught it before I tried to assemble.

    Trailer Axle Machined Stepped Surfaces

Are the bearing races fully seated in the hubs? If it didn't look like that before it was serviced and the washer fit on the spindle before something isn't right. Were both races removed and replaced?

Depends first what sect they are and what rules set by their district bishops. Most of my neighbors are fairly liberal and thanks to batteries and led lights they have driving lights, marker lights and turn signals. There is a small group of "Old Schoolers" also in the area and as the name...

14 foot jon boat with 8 hp motor almost plane.

You are in that maybe it will do it range. Experiment with one person and moving some weight around. Might try setting the gas tank as far forward as the hose will let you. A big if is it propped right. Almost need to have a tach to check that out. Do you have any friends with a lot of...

What size motor to get for my boat?

I will guess 40 would be the max as I had friends with jon boats that size. You will find the 25 will be more than adequate. Many packages were sold with the economy version having the 25 and the option of a 35 or 40 depending on the brand.

Weight distribution hitch didn't fit trailer rails

I rent a trailer a couple of times a year to haul my skid steer which is a total weight of about 9k including the trailer. Now and then all the electric brake trailers are rented out and I have to take one with surge brakes. I have not noticed any difference in my ability to stop between them...

tilt wires getting hot during lift?

I had a 1968 with the stringer drive and never knew about that. Never used it that much and it still is in the back of one of my garages. If I ever decide to use it again I will keep that in mind.

No Power Master power switch Lund Boat

Look around the battery and make certain that a smaller gauge red wire than the motor feed is not hanging loose or connected to the negative terminal. Usually there will be a least two wires connected to each battery terminal or possibly three if you are wired for a trolling motor off the...

    Boat identification

Yes, most every country requires HINs. But is very complicated as the MIC is an ISO standard so duplicates numbers may be on two different boats. Importing boats from any other country than Canada can be complicated. I once a while back helped a lady trace a boat she bought in Dubai, last...

Asking alot of a little outboard. best prop pitch?

I would invest 10 or 15 bucks into one of the "tiny tachs" to just check out what rpms you get with the present prop, When I got my present boat I installed one primarily as an engine hour meter but checking it out I found that is was surprisingly close to my shop tach and more expensive tach...
