Man, I wish I was where I was two years ago today. Fuel back then was (blow a kiss) goooooood!
But the fuel may be bad now, or it's not. Either way when you open the valve the issues arising may not even be fuel related
The superfluous valve pictured is most likely in the closed/off position. Rotate the handle counter clockwise to open
Guessing the fuel on board is old/bad, like 68 octane bad
Do I need to find a new profession!?
I have no quarrels about repairing anything, I do have a difficult time finding the proper replacement parts save for complete components
What marks do you see?
I see two clearly pictured detents on the dipstick. Both are obviously covered with oil indicating the oil pan is overfull
Is there something about diesel engine crankcase oil monitoring you know that others don't?
