    Ayuh,...... Most likely, the trim up, quits, when the trim limit switch wires fail, in under the bellhousing,.... You can by-pass it by jumpering 'em, inside the transom, where they come into the boat,.... Then the up button will run all the way to tilt,....

    Ayuh,.... It's probably rotted in two, in under the transom, before it goes into the motorbox,..... There are two sets of wires just inside the transom with butt connectors, 1 is the gauge set, the other is the limit switch set,.....
