The orange wire I am talking about is on the bottom of the square box you see I think someone put it on and ran it outside of the motor and then they just cut the wire does anyone know why they would do that or what it is for ? even how do I hook it up if it needs to be hooked up to something ...

It is an in-line six I will look for the model number tonight when I get home from work and post it with anybody happen to have pictures that shows how To position the barrel adjusters since they get clamped together
I am trying to connect some throttle controls to a 150 HP mercury boat motor I was told the controls came with the motor but I cannot see how to connect them or even which one goes to which place , can anyone please tell me how to place the controls into the boat motor to hook them up
got a problem , took boat out today , running a 1975 70 horse johnson , problem is this , when moter is running fully opened , tilt and trim does not work , when i stop , it works great , anyone got any ideals ?
