    Why I always go down to the boat after a fair amount of ran. Turn on the key and check battery voltage. Then start the engine on fast idle. Then turn on both pumps with the 2 switches. That checks both pumps and battery condition and alternator function. (y)

    The Rule Electronic pumps fail in 2.. 6 month seasons. I only use them with a switch control. They then last forever.

    A power stroke ...EVERY ... revolution will always beat a power stroke every ...OTHER... revolution. Think about the power from the extra burned fuel every second ?

    You found the problem. The gas in the tank is loaded with dirt !!!!!!!!!! Cheaper ? To pump out that dirty gasoline ?

    I just watch the tachometer and the GPS speed numbers. Tells me instantly. How fast any changing drive angle is producing.

    If your rectifier has a very flat smooth bottom that bolts to a very flat smooth engine surface ? You must coat the rectifier surface with a ...Heat Transfer .... grease compound. It will keep the rectifier from cooking to death. If your battery is TOO RUN DOWN ? It can kill the rectifiers...

    On my old Rules. I use the Manual lead wired to a on / off switch. pumps are now over 20 years old and still pump perfectly. I also use them to pump out the basement after massive rains. They also make / did make 120 vac automatic pumps for pool covers.

    NEVER ad several different fuel additives !! You are mixing up a NEW chemical that can cause engine problems. Fact Only completely use up that tank of gas before trying a different chemical.

    Tough call about who bent the boat like that. Question is........Will anyone pay for the damage ? Likely no one will. Boat company will not repair . Dealer will claim it was sold as is. That twist is difficult to do correctly. Good luck
