So I ended up sinking a bit.eek! 82 sea ray

Is this ai? If not, maybe worthy of a nomination for hall of fame post I'd suggest buying a new, quality brand boat from a reputable dealership in your area. Ask family, friends, neighbors, other boaters and random strangers their opinion as to which local pleasure boat supporting business is...

Only 2 9ft stringers on the whole boat? Need to add more?

Is the engine/drive package still in the boat? I like the pics cuz everything has been removed from the interior save for the fire extinguisher, an empty beer can and one stereo speaker. Gotta have fun tunes with a reasonable amount of safety available

Mercury 6.2 ECT DTS Axius Voltage Issue

You need to isolate systems/circuits Start with a physical disconnection of all the batteries (not just turning off switches). Look at what leads provide power and ground for the stbd engine and that engine only. Reconnect the power/ground bypassing the battery switch. Look for issues...

4.3 LX water in the oil...

I'm curious as the where the voltage at the back of the engine is being measured with the battery switch off With the switch off there should be zero voltage provide to the engine except for the clean power (+/-) connection for the pcm, can p/h, and red/blk to the 14 pin which I'm guessing is...

    Dead Batteries

What I quoted from post #28 is the definition of speculation

    Dead Batteries

Yes Possible but not probable If you speculate as to what is causing the issue the whole system is suspect. If you properly test the system the exact cause reveals itself
  15. D

    Dead Batteries

Voltage drop test, checking resistance values of starting system components With the battery load testing good the issue is something else. Connections, cables, wiring, component, etc...a dvm with proper use will locate the problem shortly. Sometimes issues won't be present until after hard...
