Ever buy a boat to big for your garage.

My 26' Cobalt fits in my friend's garage...along with a few other boats and a 29' travel trailer. It's a big garage!

    Bravo 3 Measurement Request

I would never pay $50 for the one Mercruiser sells. With my 3D printer and my sewing machine, it costs me around $1 to make this thing so I figured I will give it a try.

    First plane ride/snow !

I love airplanes. I love them them so much I got my pilot's license. Been over 20 years since I actually flew myself though. Was actually going to build my own airplane at one point until I thought better of that with all the time it takes.

    First plane ride/snow !

The thing that amazes me is that this is your first time on an airplane. The snow part is also pretty amazing.

    Bravo 3 Measurement Request

There is an additional port(secondary port) on the nose of the drive that needs to be blocked off when on muffs. If you don't, you will lose water and possibly suck up air too.

    Wheel Bearing Inspection Interval

LOL...yeah you can buy something in a box from China and it is likely counterfeit. I am a cyclist and I buy Shimano components which are all made in Japan for the higher end parts. You can also buy them from China...of course the chance of them being counterfeit is almost 100% Saying all of...

    Bravo 3 Measurement Request

Perfect...thank you very much. I will likely make the strap slightly longer just to be safe.

    Bravo 3 Measurement Request

In case people are wondering why I need the measurements. I got tired of the duct tape over the water pick up in the nose of the drive. They do sell this thing which is way expensive. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00390636S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I decided to...

    Bravo 3 Measurement Request

My boat is 8 hours away and I need a measurement made for something I am sewing for my drive. I need the length shown in my photo below. Even better would be a circumference measurement if that is asking too much. Would much appreciate it. Thanks

    Wheel Bearing Inspection Interval

With bearings, I highly doubt it.

    Wheel Bearing Inspection Interval

LOL...they are not made in China. Been buying them for both boat trailers and my travel trailer. In fact just bought a complete set for my travel traieler a couple months ago. All made in the USA...

    Front wheel bearings and hubs

Almost all wheel hub assemblies these days are bolted on. No need for a puller. That includes the OP's truck in this thread.

est ignition on a 1989 4.3 liter cobra.

Yep....that 's a good way. How is your lower shift cable? BTW, I would leave the overstroke switch in the loop. You don't want the ignition be interrupted after the shift completes and the overstroke switch prevents that.

est ignition on a 1989 4.3 liter cobra.

How are you planning on getting the shift interrupter ESA working?

    Trailer surge brakes

True...my boat weighs 6500# and my travel trailer weighs 6000#. For a lighter boat/trailer, wouldn't be worth the cost. On my travel trailer, it was close to $2400 for the whole thing.

    Trailer surge brakes

I kinda get why people switch to electric drum brakes but to me, they are still crappy drum brakes. I just took the electric drum brakes off my travel trailers becuase they just don't work well. I was on the freeway coming back from a trip and traffic slowed fast...I was on the brakes hard and I...

    Trailer surge brakes

I stopped using hard lines years ago. Wherever a hard line rubs against metal(like along your axle)you will eventually get a hole in it. I just use rubber lines.

    Snap On Boat Cover

When I made my cover for my pontoon, I was careful to make a wrap that goes around the bimini poles. On the last cover I made, I left them off. A little water won't hurt it. If your cockpit is fiberglass and is self bailing, no need to worry about the small amount of water.

    Front wheel bearings and hubs

Other than OEM, I would get the Timken over the Moog. I did a Moog replacement on my 2018 F-150. That's all I could get my hands on 12 months ago. National backorder for the OEM ones. Rockauto has all of the aftermarket ones pretty much.
