    Does your trailer still have it's sticker on the left side near the tongue? If so, it will specify the original equipment size.

    In the old days when you used steel cables instead of straps, the winch cable could be anywhere on the spool which is way more than what your winch post is offset by. They still loaded straight.

    You could have ordered a New Titan Dico surge unit and installed it on your trailer and completely working by now. And yes...replace the wheel cylinders.

    Exact same thing is going to happen with RVs. Problem is, people still think prices are still high so they are asking too much. In a few months when there is a lot of competition and they are having trouble selling their RVs and boats, prices will come down.

    The worst thing you can use for ANY electrical connection are those stupid Scotchloc connectors. My trailer used a crimp type that was likely much better. In any case, a homerunned scenario would have crimped ring connectors at a junction box at the front of the trailer

    2006 Q6 tahoe Trailer brakes replacement parts?

    I used disc brakes for years in salt water and had zero issues with rusting...of course I rinsed the discs off after I dunked the trailer. Disc brakes do not drag.
