    Fuel flow gauge

Same motor, a year older Running a gfs-10 on my Garmin network. Turns out, not so useful as I had thought. Fuel burn is pretty constant between cruise (4200) and WOT at 1.9 mpg. It’s a better indicator of the conditions than a tool to maximize fuel burn to a specific rpm

2017 115hp efi fuel issues please help

In actuality, your manual say “may” restrict flow which is boiler plate language. You will have no problem with a properly sized filter mentioned above. What micron rating is the existing in-line filter? Should be 10 micron or better for a EFI motor

2017 115hp efi fuel issues please help

Do as Scott said in post #11 "Dirty fuel" doesn't necessarily mean that the "dirt" is coming from the fuel tank. Are you currently using a good quality, 10 micron coalescing (water separating) filter to remove any dirt and or water coming from the fuel tank? If not, you need to get one. It...

How to tell what transducer you have (Hook 5)

From what I’m seeing, two of the pins are not used in the 7 pin transducers. They simply dropped the 7 pins down to 5 as a cost saving measure. Lowrance HST-WSBL Transom Mount Skimmer Transducer with Temperature 83/200kHz (5-pin) Blue Connector

Airmar does not make a 83kHz transducer Simrad rebrands some Airmar transducers, but Airmar does not make lowrance transducers, if that makes any sense.

    Windmill boat bettery charging

Dont expect much…. Unlike alternators that utilize a large gear ratio to generate current at idle rpm, stators operate at engine speed. My 35 amp charging system will not keep my 50w fish finder up and running at trolling speed….850-950 rpm once the battery is depleted

2017 115hp efi fuel issues please help

Holy molly...... that's crazy money given the scope of the work. Injectors should be serviced and performance tested on a fairly regular basis. Especially of the boat sits long periods of time unused You may have initially cleared the filters in the FSM and/or the injectors, only to flush a...

2017 115hp efi fuel issues please help

The injectors in an EFI are sensitive to dirty fuel. A 10 micron filter or better is required to prevent down stream problems. When was the last time you serviced the vapor separator? The 50/50 mix of gas and naphtha (seafoam) isn’t helping. Labeled dosage to clean injectors is 128/1 You’re...
