1990 60 hp evinrude....e60tlesm
ignition went bad..would stay on with starter running...bought new ignition however i am stuck
on wiring.
I have service manual and i do the have the control wiring diagram. The manual
shows similar control but with kill switch.....mine is a "power pilot"...
It starts right up and runs with full power and after a mile or so it just
cuts out. Sometimes it starts right up again but most of the time it cranks
and cranks and will not start......give it 5 minutes and it starts right up. Does
not matter if idle or high RPM it just conks out. My thought...
Just got this motor and mounted it and installed new steering........steering is too loose.
Where do you tighten up on the motor so it has more resistance. Have looked all over
housing and cannot see the bolt/screw/nut. Thanks.
Why is lower carb spraying gas out of the throat? Good spark on both cylinders, new plugs, carb taken off and cleaned
with no signs of blockage or stuck float. Motor runs but 40% power with lots of gas coming out???
Motor has been running great after a new starter, solenoid, plugs, wires, throttle cable, etc. Running about half throttle yesterday when it started to lose rpm's. It would only run at about 30% of power when wide open and went through a
bunch of gas in 10 minutes. I did spray some carb...
Just recently purchased motor and it is a good runner, but bad starter. Previous owner just put a new rope start mechanism on it. You have to
pull it 15-20 times to get it to engage. If you remove the cover and push on the silver pin towards the powerhead it will engage. If I tighten
the nut...
