    If you can't scan the engine, about the only thing else I can think of is to check the wires between this sensor and the ECM for opens and shorts to power or ground.

    This ECM will store codes 3 places. Active, Previously Active and Pending. Codes will be reported in the SPN/FMI format and the technician will use the manual to covert them to a DTC to troubleshoot. It would be interesting if there are any codes.
