    So I put the new coils in and tested it out, I touched the boot on top spark wire and I got shocked again, shut it down and inspected the boot noticed a small cut in the boot, put some electrical tape on it and no more shock, but it still seemed like it was missing or something...     Raised the tank to level and it did not change the operation of the motor, ran the needle back til it started to cough and ran it out til it quit coughing and she idled a little better, but still had a slight shake.     Yeah I was thinking about the rebuild kit over the new one, I took this one apart once already and inspected the Diaphram and check valves and they looked like they were in good shape, buy never hurts to throw a 6 dollar Diaphram in just to be sure. I love the advice!!

    So I tested and it was missing, inspected the coils and when running the top spark plug wire was shocking me but not the bottom. I ordered new coils. They will be here Monday. I took the boot off the back of the coil and this is what I found. Broken pieces, would this cause a miss?

    I did have 2 x 4s under the tote...lol that's what broke it. Well I swapped to the old condensers and that miss is not there. I got champion J4C in. Not sure why the condenser did that either, I know when I test it, the readings go up faster then the others, and to be clear it was only the one...

    Got the carb out and took it apart, Diaphram had holes and all the gaskets were crusty. Would this cause rough idle? Gonna clean put all new gaskets in and spark plugs then test, then to the lower end.

    Swapped old condensers in and tuned points with a multimeter, checked gap at the set mark on cam, was sitting perfectly at .20 and look at her run. The new condensers in the tune up kit lasted 5 trips, think these old ones are as old as me....lol they sure don't make things the same any more...

    Is 16 the main jet? I am gonna do a rebuilt kit on this carb when I get more time but for now I will take her easy on it. How about spraying some seafoam in the carb? Think that will clean it out? 🤔
