    After replacing the rotor on my TBV ing. I can see your point. if any of that red lock-tite runs down the dist shaft yer screwed.:eek::eek: Do you use any type of adhesive? or just fore go it all together?:confused:

    Alpha 1 Gen II and skinny water?

    How far up is it safe to operate the out drive? I have never operated (under power) past the full out trim position. But I'd like to know what I can do in case of shallow water. Common sense says keep the water pick up submerged, and RPM at no more than an idle due to the angle of the u-joints...

    SS where did you hear about The Texan?? Back in the day I was associated with an ADBA crew. At the time we ran a Blown Gas Hydro under the name Sundown. Eddie ran Top Fuel Hydro for a number of years while I was there. He jumped to cars (Top Fuel Rails) a few years before I got out of Drag Boating.
