a while back I saw a show on tv about some guys that were using drones to ferry their fish hooks out to the schools of fish. pretty crazy but very productive.
Andrew Zimmerman had a show on a guy in AR using a modified wheelbarrow to get hooks to the dam.

Around here there is a guy that helps recover deer. But if he spots them still alive after being shot he can’t disclose the location, it’s illegal to do that for harvesting them. If they are down and expired then he can lead the customer to them. He also assists with lost pets and humans Along with videoing events and such.

I don't have too many rules in my life but one is don't kill unless i eat it. Mice in my house, fire ants in the yard and wasps in the shed are exceptions. I eat the barn pigeons i cull.

Does the guy follow a wounded deer for a day or 2 to see if it dies, or is it a one and done thing?

Have a friend in our area that tracks animals and other things. He has a little Dashound ( long haired weiner dog) that has an awesome nose ! Never heard about not being able to finish a deer off, so not sure what the rules are here. I do know that his little dog has found other pets and even kids when needed. Never saw a weiner dog used for this purpose before, but his does an excellent job. This time of year he is very busy, good thing he us retired !

Saw one at the airport once as a sniffer dog.
That was a first for me. I dated a girl in high school that had a long haired that was a show dog. It was a beautiful dog and very smart.
Sadly it jumped off the back of the couch one day and broke it back. They had a little set of wheels made for him and he got around pretty good show life was over.

I have never had it but I know a few guys that say it pretty good and very similar to rabbit.
What’s your take on what it close to?

Heavy to rabbit with a bit of chicken, maybe quail due to meat to bone ratio but since not a bird bones not hollow(ish) which on a quail make them too brittle for me to enjoy.
