hello and thanks for looking. i have i think a 86 mariner(boat is 86 model) 75 hp outboard sn A19901s on a 28' sanpan. shifts in to forward fine most of the time but everyonce in a while will die. when going to reverse it dies 95% of the time and when it dies it is hard to get back into...
i have a 86 model (i think) mariner 75hp. the motor cranks fine and idles fine. can turn off and crank easy, but most of the time when you go to reverse it dies. doesnt matter if you from nutral to reverse or foward to reverse. any ideas what it might be????
