Speedgater, I too am looking at a 21' Yamaha. If you do an iBoats search on jet boats you should come across a pretty lengthy string from a few years ago. I think there are 4-5 pages of replies. I found a great deal of information there; enough to interest me. I spent an hour at a Yamaha dealer today. The sales guy (struck me as a pretty honorable guy; and the dealer gets very good reviews online) echoed what I mostly heard on this thread - that when guys go from stern drive to jet boat...they never want to go back.
