I thought I would try to resurrect this VIP thread.

I finally got around to the restoration on my VIP 180CC. Not completely done yet but its water ready. Heres the pics so far...

Hello boating friends. I have a question maybe one of you VIP 180 CC boat owners can answer? I believe the foam inside my boat has become water logged. I am wanting to know if and how hard it would be to remove the rubber between the top and bottom of my boat and lift the top, so I can get to and remove all the waterlogged foam and replace it. I believe it's only there for buoyancy. Thanks in advance for your help.
