I recently had problems with my engine shutting down at half throttle and no spark to the plugs. Next day the engine would start up but only to stall again at half throttle. After trailering the boat to my local Marina, they found the $$ 27.00 ignition switch was faulty. Well, after the fix I ran the boat all day at different RPM's and the engine runs great. I would never have found that problem on my own and would like to thank Hennry and Kevin from (North Shore Marine) in St. James, N.Y.
I wouuld love to hear from other Trophy boat owners who has experienced similar sitiuations.

If the switches are exposed to the weather, they can go bad. I've replaced several. Most of mine were just old. 1980s vintage boats.

A new switch was installed and problem fixed. I dodged a bullet....
