  • Whale Tail, Hydrofoil on your Deck Boat?

Has you put a whale tail on your I/O deck boat? Which brand and model? How well did it work?

My 2010 215XI will be used to pull tubes and skiers with a lot more starts compared to the previous owner's usage. It doesn't have a fin now and I think one would help it get on plane faster.

    Thanks for your input.

I chose the Smart Tabs. Work great on my 195 I/O.

DON'T use a hydrofoil...they put stress on your lower unit and DO NOT WORK WELL. Do yourself a favor and get some Smart Tabs SX. they actually WORK. They will get you on plane within seconds and help eliminate the porpoising an v hull wander on your boat.
