Q4 bilge blower

While on the lake today, my bilge blower stopped working. Once I got home I started to tinker with the fuses and found the 15a blown. I replaced it and it immediately blew again when I flipped the blower switch.

I'm thinking the blower is bad. When trying to chase the hoses to the blower, I can't seem to find it. The engine compartment on my SF model is so small I can't really see or feel anything.

Any help on the blowers location and how it's attached?

follow the blower hoses, usually screwed to the transom somewhere.

you may have to start unbolting parts of the boat to get to it.

with all the rain we get here, i go thru a blower every 2 years

How about isolating the blower motor from the circuit? Then try installing a new fuse. This way you know if it's the wiring or the motor.

I figured it out this morning. I ended up having to remove the port side manifold and riser to get to it. Way to big of a deal for what it is. I moved the blower higher so next time it's more accessible.

Oh, the blower fins tore through were lodged in the side of the housing... it was definitely bad!
