Sylvan 2000 Spacedeck Bilge Pump

Spacedeck 2100. Just purchased the above. Bilge pump panel switch breaker pops when activated. Cannot find location of pump. Could it be under the deck plate in front of the OB engine? This plate seems to be sealed so haven't removed as yet.

I have a 2030 Smoker-Craft commander (1998) - which is an extremely simlar deck boat - made by the same folks. Mine is an I/O so getting to my bilge is pretty easy - as the bilge area, and pump are under the motor. I would be looking for it in front of your drain plug hole. I have the same sealed deck plate which actually sits over the under the deck fuel tank in my boat.

I wonder if your boat has the same battery compartment as mine, near the transom - maybe you can access the bilge from there.

That plate is, I believe, for the fuel tank sending unit. As suggested, your bilge pump should be further back.
