Hi,

I'm looking for the manual of this boat, or some official paper (registration card, information paper) in wich the number of persons allowded to be on board is written.

Can somebody help me with that?
Thanking you in advance,

Lucas

Re: 1993 Sunbird Regency 195

I'm curious...why do you need this?

I have a 91 Sunbird Corsair 198, 19 ft, 4.3 V6, and it states on the dash that 10 people is the max occupancy, or 900 lbs. weight. That's 90 lbs. a person, plus gear. I would never want or take 10 people, regardless of size, in my boat.

So obviously, common sense rules here. It always does!

Many thanks for your answer.

Our boat is slightly smaller than yours and the max occupancy is probably around 8 to 10 people, but we would like to check it formally with the manufacturer, even if we agree with you that practically we prefer take less people (6 to 8). We need this paper to show to our mechanic the use of our boat, so that he can put a new motor/engine.

Would you know how to contact directly the manufacturer of these boats Sunbird (Regency 195 in our case) ?

Thanks in advance for your kind answer ? best regards

That will be a tough one, as Sunbird has been out of business for years.

Your boat had a 4.3 6 cyl. standard, with a 4cyl and a 8cyl as options.

Still confused why you need this documentation. A reputable boat mechanic will know what engines are compatible with your boat. That's why you pay him.
