Hello, forum
Its been awhile since I have been scanning the forums.
So shame on me. I recently got a very decent
1989 Stratos 256,That needs some attention.
Anybody out there with the knowledge of knowing what type and or brand of steering system was used on this boat ? And what would currently fit to get the steering system working. As of now it will not turn very far to the left but will turn all the way to the right.
When you make the left turn on steering wheel. The steering wheel is loose sloppy and becomes tight and starts to click when trying to turn sounds like the housing behind the steering wheel may have a gear problem.
