Man, its HUGE without the top on! There were bolts on the underside ever 10" of so that had to have the nuts removed from underneath, and about 10 rivets on the port and starboard right at the rear. But it's off, and in such a way that it could be replaced later if so desired!

Hey 73 chieftain any more headway on your center console conversion. I have a 1975 that I'm doing the same thing to. I'm getting ready to lift the top off as soon as I can get a few extra hands to help.
