That is a SC I have not seen before. Far more sleek than other aluminum ones. Nice score.

Re: 1972 Starcraft Nova

Welcome Ammo, I thought it was fiberglass too. Vid shows a good hole shot and planes fast. What was the top mph?

Re: 1972 Starcraft Nova

40 MPH is just fine. One question if I may. The throttle seems to be mounted very high, is that standard? Looks like it would be uncomfortable. And the windshield is in amazing condition, must have been very well maintained.

Re: 1972 Starcraft Nova

accually the seat is about a throw cushin to low when your in the seat you are looking at the top of the rail on the winshield....so i set on the cusion and the controls are about perfect also cusion absorbs alot of impact when you hit big wakes....easier on the back....
the windshield is what makes this boat to me look totally different also it has a light factory smoked tint to it which take some of the glare out of your eyes ....just hope i dont ever have to replace it could be a hard thing to do....

Re: 1972 Starcraft Nova

looks like it was well taken care of, set for some years from what i was told in a shed, and stored inside most of the time ... the dash and side panels i am assuming are factory original, but have faded , they are suppose to be about the same color as the boat ...

Re: 1972 Starcraft Nova

just went out and took some more pics , zip tied some losse wires up also..

there is a pic of the data plate, couple of bad things floor that is in it is on top of the original and it is wet and rotten, couple of places where support braces are cracked... transome wood accually looks pretty good to me..... ;) but all in all still usable till i can get the money to fix ...here is a link to my photobucket album where all the pics are just easier to do it this way to me
