1978 sx176 props

Hello fellow Slickcraft owners,

I am new to boating and just picked up my first boat this fall. Its a 1978 sx176 and had a omc 302 190 hp motor in it that was not winterized properly and was seized up. I replaced the 302 with a 235 hp omc 351. It has a omc stringer outdrive. Im running 5500 rpm at wot and running about 45 mph on a gps. i would like to get my wot rpm to around 4500, the problem is I cant read the casting numbers on my prop to see what pitch it is. What pitch prop would you guys recommend for my boat? Also where can I find props for this old stringer? Any help would be appreciated!

Your best bet for answers is in the prop forum. If I were you, I would PM one of the moderators, and have them move this thread to said forum .
