Spring sprung!

Plopped into the lake today for the first run of the year. Weather was nice ... lake level was WAY down.



Went out on Percy Priest lake just to get a run in and see if everything was put back together right. Trying to figure out if I'm overheating but otherwise things went well. I even have SelectTrim working again!

I bet it felt good to be out. Were hoping to hit the water this weekend for alittle fun. The weather has been gorgeus this year.

Been out a coupla' more times. Finally solved all the cooling woes. Loaded up (family of 5 and two wet dogs) we averaged a little under 30MPH. Not much of a hole shot, though. She doesn't like coming up on plane ... fights a little hard and then levels out. I'll have to play with trim and look props over more carefully. For our day-to-day use it's not too big a deal. I didn't buy a '72 for a ski boat, y'know?

... can ya' believe the kids were swimming on April 1? It was 85? here today. Crazy ... in a good way.
