Fixing up a 1987 Sea Ray Sundancer 250 DA. The cigarette lighter/power outlet was not working. Found a replacement the previous owner must have purhcased and installed. Unfortunately, I wired it backward. Line in started melt down and I disconnected. Now I have no 12 volt power on the boat and shore power will trip if converter breaker turned on. I went to the batteries and checked inline fuses (okay). I have randomly searched for fuses and all I have found look okay. I don't have a clue where to go next and don't have a wiring diagram to help. Must be exposed conductor? Any ideas?
