I recently modified the transom of a 1956 Sea Nymph to use a new Mercury 9.9 4 stroke on it .

No 1.5" wood transom now? I don't know how strong that set up would be

Hey, I'm wondering how the transom modification is holding up. Did it work without the wood? Whether it's holding up or not, I'd like to know.
