I would like to know the gap of the points and timming settings. My boat is losing a little power on the high end I think its a point problem I was thinking of cleaning and regapping the points and checking the timming but I do not know the gap please advise . Thank you for your time.

i also have the same motor,but its a 87.
Does anyone know the point gap?
Is it 18?
