So I have a 202 SE with the 5.0 Volvo Penta SX outdrive. I just found out that the transom is bad! I have gotten two estimates, one estimate was 4,400 and the other was 1,800 to 2,200 but could not do it for awhile. I am looking for advice as to whether it is worth repairing it and then selling or selling as is? I am working out of town and will not have time to do the repairs myself. The boat other than the transom is in above average shape and includes a custom trailer wake board tower and covers.
