Any Regal owner out there who has had a problem with the engine hatch lift? On the 240 and 260 the engine hatch is the entire aft deck and aft seat. The hatch is opened via a switch on the dash. Mine opens about 2 inchs and stops. If someone hold the switch in the up position I can continue to open it, when it reaches about a foot open the hatch lift motor will open it all the way but the motor seams to "lug." The wireing is a rats nests with 3 power relays. I think the problem may be corrosion at the relay connectors.
Thoughts or suggestions? This cannot be a problem unique to my boat.
