Folks where are all the Prince-Craft owners? I rarely see any P-C owners on here.

1999 PrinceCraft pro 162 with a 1997 35 horse Johnson. Just put in a console and in the process of wiring it up and stringing cables. Completely redone the boat with new carpeting, paint and custom decals. Love it

Re: Where are all the Prince Craft owners?

I just bought one. A '98 14'-6" Resorter DLX side console with a '98 Johnson 25hp 3-cyl motor and Princecraft galvanized trailer. One owner, looks to be in great condition for the year, fit and finish is very good. It has heavy duty vinyl flooring, much better than carpet, side storage, storage under the bow deck and a large live well up front, three good seats and four seat plugs in the floorboards.

The Johnson gives it about 25 mph two up and it rides pretty good although it will skid a bit on fast turns. The 3-cyl motor is super smooth.

Great boat, I have the tiller model. I run a 25hp merc but am contemplating replacing with a 30hp Evinrude etec.

Good to see I have a brethren on here. Living in south Flrorida land of the Mako's, Wellcraft, Donzi set I get tired of being the only one with a Princecraft. I have an old 91 Super/Pro 196 with an original Mariner 2 stroke.

You gotta love Princecraft with their sleek design that cuts through the water and easy to plane, I have an 2007 Starfish Deluxe with an F40 mounted on the back and am ready to fish. I also have a Motorguide trolling motor hooked up to a battery selector switch and I run optimas so I can troll all day long. Happy boating to all my fellow boaters

New to me (a few months ago) 1996 PC Starfish 20 here. Previous-PO had filled it with plywood, which was de-laminating. Rebuilding (slowly).

22 foot Ventura w/150HP Johnson. My first outboard after owning boats for over 30 yrs and what a great boat it is. The ability to seat 12 and go 42 mph (not at the same time), is the perfect anti pontoon party boat.

Re: Where are all the Prince Craft owners?

I now have a 2007 Ungava with a great yamaha 15hp 2 stroke. It handles amazingly for a little boat and skids in turns a bit due to it's square chine hull design, but it does plane fairly easily. Me and my good friend were out in it yesterday and caught to big chinook salmon in the Fraser River while we were anchored. It was hard to land them in the boat floating downstream through some nasty water and current. I realized i need a bigger boat when water almost came over the transom when a big jet boat came by us while we were fighting a big fish. We would have been done if that would have happened. So now i am still looking for a princecraft resorter 14.5 wide body. I'm out west. If any of you know of any could you let me know. my email is rosscopeeko@gmail.com Thanks guys

Re: Where are all the Prince Craft owners?

I just purchased a 2014 model 177 sport at the boat show. Comes with 115 Merc, Minn Kota iPilot and I upgraded to the Lowrance HDS-5 fish finder.

They will be building the boat over the next few months. I can't wait to get delivery of it in the spring time. Now time to sell my old boat.

I just purchased last week a 2001 pro 176. It has a 135 evinrude 2 stroke and a 15 hp evinrude 4 stroke kicker on it. Being as im in northern Mi and our ice is 3 feet thick I can't wait for spring to get here to get it on the water

For those looking for downrigger mounts for their boats here is a link for you. Scroll down to the PDF. I have the origional 2001 brochure and also how to mount the down rigger plates, dimentioins, screw sizes ect for all the boats

Congrats.
The pics are great. The boat looks really clean and in great condition.
As per the downrigger mounts. I installed them on my boat this year. I didn't want them to be a permanent mount as I don't like the look of them when not in use.
I installed threaded inserts and now the mounts can be removed very easily.

Just joined the Princecraft group! I just bought a 2006 Pro 179 with a 115 opti. I have only had it out once, but love this ride!! Can't wait to fish out of it for the years to come.
